European Propositions Manager

You’ll work for the Centre of Excellence (CoE): a European Bechtle team that focuses on the development of propositions, targeted at a specific horizontal or vertical market. The Centre of Excellence originates from the strategic choice of Bechtle IT E-Commerce to raise the profile of our 24 European locations as Solution Sellers.

In order to achieve this, each location will have a local ambassador who supports sales colleagues in the case of questions emerging from the propositions. If the ambassador has additional technical questions, these will be answered by the Technical Consultant.

As Proposition Manager/Modern Collaboration Sales Specialist, you have a dual role within the Centre of Excellence. First of all, you are responsible for (further) developing and managing modern meetings propositions that we offer our customers in Europe. You are the ‘director’ of the entire chain: from customer journey to implementing the propositions. Furthermore, you assist the ambassadors with the bigger invitations to tender.

You know the business IT market. You know what the competition does and what the customer needs are. You interpret all of this into a tailored proposition that best meets the customer’s needs. You are the contact person for commercial issues. In future, your role may be supplemented with other verticals or horizontals.

 

Your new job

  • You translate customer journeys, competition analyses, research and customer needs into solutions and value propositions.
  • You create a clear vision and can transpose this into action plan.
  • You develop and implement specific go-to-market strategies, and develop a tactical and operational marketing and sales plan.
  • You convert your competition and market analyses into useful reports.
  • You perceive trends. You initiate product development, thus improving existing services.
  • You are an integral part of the Centre of Excellence team and work closely with your colleagues in other countries to deploy the new strategy.
  • You direct commercial propositions and technical product development.
  • You enjoy sharing knowledge. You increase the knowledge level of account managers through training and one-on-one sessions.

 

Your profile

  • You have a university or a university of applied sciences degree, preferably the field of marketing and/or IT.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the field of proposition and/or product management in the B2B market is preferable!
  • Creative, innovative and entrepreneurial. Sound like you? Great! We are looking for a creative professional with original ideas.
  • You are flexible, customer and performance-oriented. You always want to achieve your goals and exceed expectations.
  • You get energy from bringing together stakeholders, departments and ideas.
  • You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
